The Do came in with Ninyaz to talk about the tour that took over the Kingdom, premiere his new single, and take on a beat he had never heard before.

The Do’s first tour ran across the country, opening in Khobar before moving to Riyadh and Jeddah, with Dammam crowds in the mix too. He went in with a target and hit it. The plan, as he put it, was to reach numbers nobody in the scene had reached.
Behind it all sits “شبت نار”, the track that pushed past 24 million views on YouTube and turned into something bigger than a release. It followed him from the tour into the stadium, used as a walk-out song for players, which is about as clear a sign as it gets that a song has left the charts and entered daily life.
He did not travel alone either, bringing a crew of artists and friends on the road with him.
“What’s My Name”: the new single
The Do brought the new one with him. MDLBEAST Radio premiered a snippet of “What’s My Name” live in the studio, then he confirmed the date on air.
“On the 10th,” he said. “10th of June, inshallah.”
“Mark your calendars,” Ninyaz replied.
The single landed on schedule, out June 10 through Universal Music MENA, with the official video following on June 13. Produced by DJ Professor, it is The Do doing what he does best: switching between Arabic and English mid-bar, riding the beat with a hook built to be shouted back at him.
The surprise: a beat, no warning
Then Ninyaz pulled the trick MDLBEAST Radio likes to pull on artists who think the interview is winding down. She cued up an unfamiliar beat with a transition in it and asked The Do to freestyle over it.
He did not blink. The Do went straight in, reading the beat as it moved and flipping between Arabic and English right across the transition, landing the switch like he had written to it. That is the part you cannot fake. Plenty of artists can rap over a beat they know. Far fewer can hear a new one in real time and ride every turn in it.
“I’m good with my surprises,” Ninyaz said afterward.
What is next
A second tour is coming, and The Do was clear that it will not be built around a single song this time. There is more music on the way, and by his account the run is only getting started.
