MDLBEAST Radio MixTape at Beast House: Alyoung and Randar Headline, Alshaikh Doubles Up

MDLBEAST Radio MixTape took over Beast House at JAX District in Diriyah, Riyadh on Friday, September 4, 2026. Alyoung and Randar headlined, Alshaikh played a solo set before joining them on stage, and Shancoty and DJ M5 ran the decks through R&B favorites, hip hop anthems and the throwbacks the whole room knew word for word.

What MDLBEAST Radio MixTape is

MDLBEAST Radio MixTape is the station’s hip hop night. It is the R&B and hip hop sound you hear on air, taken off the radio and put in a room.

Every edition spotlights the DJs and artists who built the local scene, the mixtape legends who were putting Saudi hip hop and R&B on tape long before any of it reached the radio.

You can listen to MDLBEAST Radio MixTape every Thursday night on MDLBEAST Radio.

Alyoung and Randar

The pair arrived at Beast House carrying new work. In July 2026 they released R2, a four-track EP, through MDLBEAST Records and their own YR Records: R2, Lessa Lessa, Asabi3 Shama and Al Halazona.

The EP is old school in spirit with current production, and that is exactly the energy they brought to the room. Ten minutes of music, no filler, built for exactly this kind of night.

Alshaikh, twice over

Alshaikh worked the night from two angles. First a solo set of his own, then back up on stage alongside Alyoung and Randar, turning the headline slot into something bigger than a scheduled performance.

On the decks

Shancoty and DJ M5 held the room between and around the live sets, moving through R&B, hip hop and the throwbacks MDLBEAST Radio MixTape is built on. That is the job on a night like this, keeping the floor moving so the live sets land in the middle of a party rather than at the start of one.

MDLBEAST Radio MixTape returns. Tune in every Thursday night on MDLBEAST Radio to hear where the night goes next.
